Announced on Hello Station #449, Morning Musume. '22 will release their 72nd single, a double A-side single, "Swing Swing Paradise / Happy birthday to Me!" on December 21st. Kaga Kaede's last single, and Sakurai Rio's debut single. "Swing Swing Paradise", as the title suggests, is a swing song. "Happy birthday to Me!" is pretty straightforward. Perfect for their 25th Anniversary.

Morning Musume. '22 has announced that it will release "Swing Swing Paradise / Happy birthday to Me!", Kaga Kaede's last single, on December 21st.

Fukumura Mizuki comments
The two A-side singles are "Happy birthday to Me!", a song that makes you want to move forward to a "new me", and "Swing Swing Paradise" is a fun dance number that gives a shout out to Kaga Kaede who is leaving.
This is the debut single for new member Sakurai Rio, the last single for Kaga Kaede, and the first commemorative single for Morning Musume on its 25th anniversary, so I want to give a performance that will reach as many people as possible.

This is the first single for the 25th anniversary of Morning Musume, so I put more feelings than ever into its production.
This is the last time I will sing a song by Tsunku, so I will sing it with great care.
This will be the first time for Sakurai Rio, and the last for me, but I hope you will enjoy our members voices as a group!

Sakurai Rio comments
It was my first single and I experienced many things such as recording and shooting music videos, which was very stimulating for me. Being involved in a single work as a member of the group gave me a renewed sense of being a member of Morning Musume.

Of course I feel sad that this is the last single with Kaga-san participating, but I will do my best to convey the goodness of the 13 members as they are now.

Mizuki says this song feels very "Kaede-like", and in a way, it's like a message from Tsunku to Kaga Kaede. The song and lyrics are Kaga focused.

At the Morning Musume. '22 Concert Tour performance in Sendai (Ayumi's homecoming) today, they performed their new single "Happy birthday to Me!"

It is a high energy, uptempo song, with rapping, and a cool dance. Kaga Kaede is also in the center and has a solo. 12th gen to 16th gen all have solo lines. According to one person, Kaga, Ishida, Nonaka, Yokoyama, and Kitagawa are probably the mains.

It is announced that the music show "FULL CHORUS" is back for a one-night only special, with Hama Okamoto and Becky hosting again.



Morning Musume. '22 and Juice=Juice will perform in "FULL CHORUS ~Ongaku wa, Full Chorus~ One Night Only Grand Revival Special!" to be broadcast on SkyPerfect on Friday, October 28th from 8pm~11pm.

"FULL CHORUS" was a music program featuring Becky and Hama Okamoto (OKAMOTO'S) that aired regularly on BS-SKYPerfecTV from March 2015 to June 2019. In order to fulfill the artists' wishes to "have their songs heard from beginning to end" and "have as many people as possible listen to their new songs," the artists will perform their songs in full. The show will return for one night only this fall.

Morning Musume. '22, OKAMOTO'S, Juice=Juice, and Kayoko Yoshizawa, who have made the most guest appearances, will give full-length performances in the studio.
