Between COVID, the holidays, and some other factors, the postal service here has been totally overwhelmed. I'm sure the cards will make it soon enough!

I'm still waiting too, but I'm not too shocked given ^ exactly how messed up the mail has been for us. My mom ended up waiting almost an entire month for her medication to come, and I just got the TV Guide detailing the last couple of weeks in December three days after they delivered the one with info for first chunk of January.

I've been lucky, because I personally haven't experienced any huge delays in domestic mail. I think the slowest delivery I've seen recently was a Christmas card from one of my cousins, postmarked in Seattle on Dec. 20, which arrived on Dec. 29.

All the mail I'm still waiting for is coming from abroad. In addition to Stereo's card, there's an eBay purchase from Singapore, which I paid for on December 11, and a photobook that I bought from a Japanese seller on the Amazon Marketplace on October 30. The latter is coming by surface mail, since Japan Post shut down airmail parcel service to the U.S., and because of that it's not even "late": Amazon says delivery is "Expected by Jan 15, 2021."

EDIT: The thing from Singapore arrived today.

I'm relieved it made it okay! Once again, sorry about the state of the candy (in whatever form it managed to make it in, haha).

Amped's latest post in the Musings/Rants thread alerted me to the fact that 2021 is the Year of the Ox. I wish I'd thought of that when I was doing my cards. I could have used a rubber stamp designed by Momochi that I bought at the H!P Official Shop in Harajuku last Year of the Ox. How can twelve years have passed already?!

Happy Year of the Ox!

Stereo's package (far more than just a card) finally arrived: 33 days in transit. When I saw the photo of the post office receipt, I wondered why the postage was so expensive. Now I know why! Thanks for the awesome goodies!
