I wish her the best of luck as a soloist and I hope she gets the same treatment as Airi. Considering Karin's been working on her own stuff, I suspect she'll be amazing as a soloist!

She's had a very long time in H!P, has had every opportunity while part of it and will be active after her graduation.
A little sad, but mostly exciting to see what's coming.

Miyamoto Karin will begin her solo activities in Autumn 2020

It looks like she also wants to share her DIY and interior design skills on SNS twitter or youtube.

She will be part of the Vladivostok, Russia travel tour with Juice=Juice on June 5th, so specific graduation date and venue in June will be announced later. Miyamoto is also planning to visit a Dacha (a summer house with a vegetable garden) in Russia, as part of her future activities.

Man, there are way too many graduations this year. I don't know how much more my heart can take.

I'm glad she'll still be with UF, though! I know she's written a few songs, so hopefully this will allow her to really get creative.

To be fair, with this one I actually believe that the talks started in 2018 and that they (carefully) planned this graduation out.

Karin probably could've gone another three years and graduated during J=J's 10 year anniversary but it sounds like she has some ideas of what she wants her transition into adulthood to look like. This also makes it so that she starts her solo career relatively young and has time to build up a fanbase.

I kind of new they were testing out interest when she had her little mini tour and what not, but I’m still surprised.

Kind of disappointed she isn’t staying in H!P. She would be more successful. H!P hasn’t had a solo artist in so long. But I’m happy for her non the less. When she said she’s been in H!P for 12 years I realized that it’s understandable for her to leave now. She has a strong sense of what she wants to do as well so I’m confident she will do well.
