The setlist for the event seems kind of lackluster to me, but I'm sure it'll still be fun to watch when the DVD is released.
I hope the fall concert tour feels more like a celebration than this did though. This felt and looked like any random event, minus the public vote.

But this IS an event...

Since I wasn't able to go to Japan for the event, I celebrated the anniversary by wearing my "モー。10" tenth anniversary t-shirt and listening to the first five Morning Musume。 albums.

teth: Even if it is just an event, they could've at least upped the presentation. Something as small as sparkly streamer curtains would've added to the nothing that was the stage. Of course my opinion as a whole is likely impacted by my thoughts on the final voted upon setlist.
The anniversary in general doesn't feel very celebrated to me yet though, so I am hoping the tour will remedy that.

Morning Musume. 20th Anniversary cake

So, Ooki Hitomi is not surprising at all, however...
Pyoco Pyoco Ultra. Was number 8. Can we let that sink in for a moment.
Also, I'm surprised that Say Yeah! Motto Miracle Night was the most requested song!

It's pretty disappointing that they didn't perform Daite Hold on me, Be Alive, and Pyoko Pyoko but overall the set list is pretty great (the only obligatory "we had to perform this no matter what song" appears to be Love Machine).
Also I know a lot of our fears were that the Top 10 would be the most expected MM. songs ever (Love Machine, Renai Revolution, etc. etc.) but I would venture to say MM's at the place where only hardcore/committed fans really voted which is why we got such a pleasant Top 10.
I hope they release this on DVD.

Just having Reina and Sayu there makes watching it worth it. I hope they put out a backstage dvd as well
