Wait, so basically, Zukki -> Yokoyan, Riho -> Kaedi xD
Zukki and Yokoyan are both smiley, sweet, and have a similar voice. Riho and Kaedi are the more serious, skilled performer type (and Kaedi looks up to Riho and want to be the ace herself).

Dang, now that we know Yokoyan had the entire first solo (which is definitely way more than I expected from a, practically, off the street addition. Good job Yokoyan!), I'm eagerly waiting for Kaedi's moment. Will it be a final chorus solo so that the song starts and ends with 13th gen, or maybe a solo during the build up for the final chorus post-dance break a la Murotan/Taiki Bansei. I'm kinda hoping it's not in the 2nd verse/chorus because that part of the song tends to be skipped over when they perform the song short

Clearly it's a not-so-veiled reference to Trump. I would not agree that it's necessarily throwing shade, though. I mean, yes, you could read it that way, but truthfully any new leader faces a confusing transitional period, whether it be a president, prime minister, CEO, job manager, group captain, etc. And these lyrics had to have been written long before some more recent controversial happenings. I think the purpose of the line in the song is simply to reinforce -- in a topical manner -- the idea that the world is in an era of change, and so, coincidentally, is Morning Musume with new its membership, hence "brand new morning."

Has Wada's reign been marked by a confusing period of transition? Are we talking about Ayacho giving Reina the nickname Yokoyoko and Reina not being happy with it? Or, are they confused about if they have to say "Toilet" or "Flower Garden"?

Or, maybe the songwriter knew ahead of time of the elevation of Momohime to Hinafest dictator?

on their blog, Morning Musume. '17 members announced they will be performing their new song tomorrow at the H!P Winter Concert 2017 ~Crystal Clear~ pattern in Osaka. They will perform "Jealousy Jealousy" in full and show off the dance and outfits for the first time.
