I had to double-check this, but it turns out that 2002年6月30日 was the exact same day that I was introduced to Hello! Project.
They used to show HEY! HEY! HEY! on KTSF Channel 26 in San Francisco, but their broadcasts were always several weeks after the original airing in Japan. My first taste of H!P was Morning Musume｡ on episode #333 (OA 2002.04.01), but KTSF didn't show it until June 30th.
