um... Kobushi and Tsubaki weren't declared until after berryz disbanded... It's quite early to make such statements, for all we know they have another group to replace C-ute up their sleeves.

^ After the Berryz hiatus was announced, you mean. Kobushi Factory performed at Berryz Kōbō Matsuri and as an opening act for Berryz' final show at Budōkan.

Right. Either way, there's still almost a year until C-ute disbands, anything can happen, it's still waaaayy too early to jump to conclusions

Kobushi was announced in January 2015, but Tsubaki wasn't formed until like a month after Berryz into hiatus. I doubt they're going to announce a new group now, they'll probably announce it closer to when it's time for C-ute to head out the door.

In ℃-ute's case I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Maimai's scandal, or at the very least Maimai herself, started discussions about it if they hadn't already been talking about it when Berryz went on hiatus. I'm sure it's been talked about amongst them for a while now.

I also wonder if Chisato's vocal cord surgery sparked some talk as well. I dunno.

I think it's just time really. It's just them all becoming adults, and their rival group being gone, and the girls getting to 25, and not wanting to be "C-ute" forever.

That, too. I mean, in the end, it doesn't really matter what caused them to start talking about it or how they discussed it. This is the conclusion they came to and I respect that. It doesn't seem out of place or anything, and I'm sure it wasn't just one incident that started the discussion about potentially disbanding. I agree that it's time.

Part of my knew they would be leaving H!P soon but the selfish part of me wanted them to continue on as just a regular band. Just reminds me of how I'm getting old :(

There's an online petition to get C-ute to come to America. You should sign it, even if they already have plans to go abroad this winter, if UF catches wind it can only help.

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/prov ... -usa-venue

It's at 200+ signatures already.
