I wasn't calling it repetitive to be critical, just as a factual observation, specifically that we hear "wo oh oh oh" 18 times. I agree with you that it's an effective hook.

Elaborating on my earlier remark, here's a video talking about some of the findings regarding song repetition:

And a research article about repetition in lyrics: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/d283/2 ... 1b897a.pdf

^It's repetition done right is I guess what I meant. In the past H!P has had a lot of repetition done wrong it feels like so that many fans immediately equate repetition with annoying. This song uses it effectively so that it's never leaving my head, but I don't care.

^ Definitely a Tsunku song alright. It kinda sounds like a JJ song.
The verse is okay, the song didn't really transition into a different sound when it got to the chorus like I was hoping so for me there's a lack of oophm, and even in the recording the fast line sounds odd, unlike in Cute - The Future's "kitto wasuresaru darou."
That being said, it's not a terrible song, it's not like it sounds random/unlikable or anything, by no means, and I am digging Gen 1-2's vocals, but I'm kinda bummed that I don't like this song as much as I want to. Tsugitsugi Zokuzoku set up the bar pretty high, and, at least for now, I feel would make the stronger main A side.

Nice. And nostalgic. If I tilt my ears a certain way, I can almost hear Takahashi and Mikitty swapping verses, with a bit of Reina and Koha in the background.

I haven't been able to keep myself updated so I just have to ask a silly question: is one of the songs a solo song?
