ANGERME - Koi nara Tokku ni Hajimatteru (MV)

Omg, Rina!!! She's...starting to lure me in again, like she did during Suki yo Junjou Hankouki. I love her smile, she smiled a lot in TTZZ and Koi nara, and she sounded amazing in all her lines. Like...from verse 2 onward, my focus was on her with her singing and expressions.

The song itself, it's good. I grew to like it A LOT more since the radio/live rip. Very H!P instrumentals, has an easy to remember tune, that awkward sped up line is a lot less awkward as you keep replaying the song and it starts being kinda catchy (but still a tiny bit awkward in the first chorus xD). Yet another amazing, diverse triple A single from Angerme where everyone gets to shine.

I'll never forget how Tsunku said in a new year's interview in 2014(?) that S/mileage was the "problem child group," and comparing that to reading comments today about how awesome Angerme is and how there's no weak member, it just makes you so proud of how far they've come. You can say that it's management doing it right with picking the right new members, or giving them the best songs, but even just looking at Ayacho and Gen 2, you can tell they've improved and that it's part of why they're amazing now.
