There might be some dialectal differences (like a bunch of language patterns), but I think it's fine. "I know where we are going to" refers to the goal of the movement. Like if you're heading to a restaurant and you got lost for a bit, you might not know where you're going but you'd still know where you're going to, and when you figured it out, you'd say "I know where I'm going now" and not "I know where I'm going to now".

Some languages have a distinction between "where" and "to where" (and "from where"), like var/vart in Swedish, but English "where" can be both, and sometimes you can have an overt "to". In a short answer, you'd ask "where to/from?" rather than "where?" if you're referring to movement rather than location.

In speech, sure, I'll take it, but as a song lyric I still think it is pretty awful. I just don't think it is beautiful language usage personally :B

(also just want to say, that I hear a lot of swedes misusing vart and it drives me cray cray. "vart är du?" type of thing. cringe.)

In other words, the lyrics aren't lyrical.

That one line isn't, I'll give her that. It's not very poetic and it's stretched too much so it fits the melody. It needed to be longer and a little more flowery. The weird staccatoed way it was sung doesn't help either.

The song is fine, that one line just threw me off because it was the first line in a verse XD

I guess that kinda hints that Riho probably won't be getting an a-side since its usually MM songs first then a Grad Solo for tracklisting.

I don't think she would've wanted one anyway. I'm guessing that since its such a quick graduation it doesn't really have the same sentimental value in promoting a big graduation concert to make money off. Especially now that they have the special solo live to promote the single already.

Yeeeah... or maybe it's just the fact that every graduating girl ever won't get a solo. It never worked that way before and there's nor reason to why it suddenly would. Like I mentioned before, Ai, Risa, Reina and Sayumi were all in the group for 10 years and got solo singles. -- Hell, Sayu's was the only one to be an A-side.
Riho graduating is in no way the same thing.

Doesn't mean I ignore her influence over the group - it's been huge. But let's be real. Most likely it'll go down the way it's always done for graduations - she'll get the center a bit extra and more screentime than usual.

I'd rather have Sayashi save her solo songs for her H!P solo debut. shes not leaving H!P and not saying goodbye. Sayu, Gaki, Aichan, Reina had solo songs, they left H!P. Aika is still in H!P.

You know what this single needs? B-sides

That way riho can cover a song and wakkanai can find a place

It's the 60th single. Shouldn't we have a gimmick or two?
