At 42:27, the video jumps "one year later" to the ANGERME 4th Gen auditions in September 2015, and from that point on, it's all solo shots of Kamikokuryō.

Do you suppose since H!P owns or did own all those girls but one we might actually get fully footage of all of them auditioning like the old days? No... oh okay... Though I'm sure someone's debating on trying to edit the footage here and the footage from the 12th Gens published audition stuff and then possibly things with the other girls. I'd watch it

^^Kamiko has made me think of Maimi since the moment I saw her, something about her eyes and face shape really reminds me of Maimi when she was younger, but I feel like they have that same uniqueness that just ends up looking good.

She is definitely a late bloomer (Taiki Bansei). She is one of the last girls in the 2014 audition to join H!P. in the Angerme audition she got her revenge, "A Girl's Counterattack" (Otome no Gyakushu)

I never thought I would say this, but now I'm really glad that they didn't give us typical audition footage for the golden audition. I would have been seriously upset that Moe wasn't chosen. To this day I'm still meh about Ogata. It could have been another Aika situation where everyone was upset that their fav wasn't chosen (like Kikka) and took it out on the girl who was chosen. (Ogata reminds me of Kon Kon too btw You know, the girl who is really weak in all areas but Tsunku sees a lot of potential in so she passes. It's very musume. Perhaps Aika and even Sayu fit into that category)

That said. My Japanese isn't the best, but was she getting berated by the instructor for not practicing long enough? Perhaps she was one of the strongest girls, but she didn't show a lot of growth or didn't put in a lot of effort and therefore Tsunku and the team decided she wasn't a Morning Musume type of girl. (Ala Murakami Sara of 10th gen auditions) Then she came back determined and her story made her seem perfect for Angerme. I mean it did seem like her singing has grown since her last audition. She sounds amazing.

Not the best Japanese either, but I think the instructor asked if she practiced, she said yes, instructor said "well it doesn't seem like it. I don't expect perfection, but not having changed/improved at all is no good." Then she proceeded to ask Moe how long she practiced and I think she said half an hour (?) and the instructor laughed a bit and said that really doesn't seem like enough time for practice.
But I agree, her story of being revived into H!P from Taiki Bansei, and then going for Angerme, and then getting in, is such a fitting story, and that she sounded a lot better after 1 year.

Sayaka -> Moe

she improved so much from her initial audition. looking at the candidates again Miki really was the real ace of the audition from all angles (acrobats, singing, dancing and english!).
