"standing in line" is quite usual photo pose for MM it's good, because everyone gets equal attention, we can see every girl, every outfit etc.
but fans still can rate about center positions %)))
but if you're talking about both of pics being with b/w outfits and heels, then yes, they're similar

I know what you're saying. Their outfits are similar, but I was talking about GG's looks They are all so plastic fantastic you could hardly tell who's who.

I just want to say that I didn't mean it like a "Oh, all asians look the same" type of comment. It was based on how they looked in that photo so sorry if I offended any SNSD fans

It's not about them being Asian. It's about them being a large group of more-attractive-than-average girls who are all dressed the same, made-up the same, and posed the same. Given those conditions, you could the same about an American cheerleading squad (for example). The determining factor is familiarity.

Not directed at you only, bisuketto, it's more of a general rant, but I find the "all the girls look the same" argument used against idol groups (MM '14 has been accused of this as well, btw) really stupid.

You think they look all the same, but they don't. You're just not able to tell them apart because you have no real interest in them. That's ok. They still don't look the same.

Female Korean celebrities do tend to have sort of the same stereotypical look though. I'm not saying they all had plastic surgeries, but the fact that plastic surgery is really common in Korea is also another factor, even if it just narrows down people's perspectives of beauty to a specific look.

I mean, there's the "you're just not paying enough attention" aspect to it, but there's also that thing about Korean celebrities.
