I don't see them staying in H!P at all, not with the amount of H!P Trainees that need to debut. As long as they stay under contract with the company they will stay in UF and we'll probably see them show up if they continue to do the year end UF countdown. But other than that. They will all go off and do other things within UF if they choose to stay in the company. You know, like what the OG do now? Musicals/Plays, TV, Magazines, Solo fan events. Stuff like that.

Not every Kenshuusei "needs" to debut. I mean, sure, it would be nice to see them debut, but not all of them are ready/will ever be ready, and as we've seen in the past, not all Kenshuusei end up debuting.

I hope they actually do stuff if they join the OGs, because some of them (*cough* Ogawa Makoto*cough*) never really do anything.

Roy, my fiance, has a theory they're getting all this stuff as a final push to see if they can sell better. If they can, then they stay, yay. If they don't, well at least they got a proper send off.

^ Wow, you beat me to it. I was literally just quoting/posting the same thing. I probably would have beat you if I hadn't stopped to copy-and-paste the links, for proper citation. Darn my tech writer training.

Anyhow, they called it.

Yea the writing's been on the wall for a couple years in regards to this. Certain people obviously didn't want to be there and the rest of them might not have either. And going out as a group in the long run is better than half the group graduating or slowly graduating into oblivion. I mean, they've had the exact same line-up seemingly forever, it's right for them to all go together.

But heck, these girls have been at it for half of their lives. Now they can go out and experience different things. And goodness, if they want to find work in any of the other industries, they'll get it. Former H!P'ers much lower on the totem poll than they are have done things. It's just gonna depend on their individual wants and determination. And like others have said, the hiatus status leaves the door open for random comebacks.

For me personally, eh, what can you do. I've disliked Berryz for 6 years and now they're one of my all time favorites, even though I bitch about certain people looking like they don't give a crap and others on how they could and should be doing better. (I guess officially now we know why that happened) But I've been an H!P and idol fan for a long time and you always know at any moment the ride is coming to an end. You just ENJOY (in Yurina's voice) it the best you can.

I wish you brats the best of luck. :thumbs-up:

I wish they'd actually get a graduation rather than an "indefinite hiatus".
