I'll be about a 20-minute walk away from the venue (factoring in how I do walk big-city fast).

I'll be up for some Asian food or something. There are many things I wish I could see, especially since I'm really into immigration history, but I'll accept that it's not a trip for sightseeing this time around. I've been to New York before, but it was in the middle of winter and my friend took me everywhere. Nowadays I prefer to learn my way around myself.

Will there be a Zunu sighting?

I might be bringing an empty-ish bag to do some shopping.

Take into account that length-wise the blocks are ~1 minute per block, giver or take. Width-wise they are a bit longer.

Driving in NYC is insane! Which is why I always bus in. This will be the first time taking a train. I'm going to be with another group of people but I fully intend to go to the hello party and be my antisocial self and sit in a corner. Sorry I'm an introvert. TvT I tend to give off the vibe that I don't want to talk to you but really I do. Just fair warning if we happen to meet up at some point.

We need to find a way to organize a waiting group at the theater, because when I passed by it didn't seem like there was much room the stand, but i could be wrong. We should all hold up giant signs saying "JPLOPPERS"

I will have official Jplop metal can badge style buttons to hand out, which might be very vaguely useful for that or similar purposes.

According to Google Maps, my hotel is a 2-minute walk from the nearest subway station, a 7-minute walk from the Best Buy Theater, and an 11-minute walk from BOOK-OFF. I'm set.

lol. but how will we find everyone when the line forms to begin with is what i mean? Like, how will we know who is who?

We really should be making a Jplop in-line waiting area thing. So like, if one of us arrives there at 8 am instead of 7 am, at least we will be, yanno, part of the group.

I'm not just a Jplop forum member. I'm also active on Facebook and MMBBS so I have multiple groups I'm going to need to meet up with. As I said I'm going to be with a small group of people so I won't be alone.
