Nonaka Miki
1. What part of your face do you like?
My right dimple is characteristic.

2. What part of your body do you like?
My collarbone is pretty!

3. Your nicknames at school and home?
In school it's "Nonaka-chan", the intonation on "naka" is very strong. At home it's "Onee-chan".

4. Your favorite subjects?
I'm good at English in school, but I'm better at speaking Japanese.

5. What sport are you good at?
I'm good at dancing and artistic gymnastics, but I'm not good at anything else so at sports festivals I don't stand out at all.

6. How do you handle Summer homework?
I worry a lot, so I do them early in July so I can play later.

7. Skirts or pants?
Skirts. I like pastel colored skirts that are fluffy.

8. What's your favorite manga or anime?
"Chibi Marukochan", because it takes place in my home prefecture Shizuoka.

9. What TV shows do you like?
"Getsuyou Kara Yofukashi". Since Matsuko Deluxe loves Morning Musume I want to talk to her some time. I want to be able to talk as well as she does.

10. Which emoticon do you use most?
☆＼(^o^)／☆ after "Yay!" or "Thank you". Once I've used it it comes up as a suggestion after I write something and since I don't want to change that, I always use it. (laugh)

11. What's something you have to do before bed?
Listen to music or play the piano. I can copy a song just by listening to it so lately I play "Egao no Kimi wa Taiyou sa".

12. What song made you find out about Morning Musume?
I have a memory of singing "Koko ni Iruzee!" when I was in kindergarten. My grandma also used to send me CDs when I lived in America, and back then I loved Mini Moni so I always watched their DVDs.

Makino Maria
1. What part of your face do you like?
My teeth, since Okai-chan from °C-ute told me she likes my teeth.

2. What part of your body do you like?
My long, narrow/thin bellybutton.

3. Your nicknames at school and home?
Maria

4. Your favorite subjects?
Crafts and art. I like to create things; in Elementary school I was part of the Invention Club.

5. What sport are you good at?
At this years sports festival I came in 2nd for the 200m run. In Eelementary school I was part of the Basketball Club, and I have the 1st level of swimming ability certification.

6. How do you handle Summer homework?
My mom makes up a schedule for me, but in the end I always end up doing most of it at the end. I work best under pressure.

7. Skirts or pants?
I love dresses like the Princesses in Disney movies wear, so I don't own any pants.

8. What's your favorite manga or anime?
"MAJOR", and when I was younger I liked "Kirarin Revolution".

9. What TV shows do you like?
I watch baseball on GAORA a lot. At the end and beginning of the year I definitely watch "Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!" and the real baseball part of "Honoo no Taiikukai TV".

11. What's something you have to do before bed?
I look at my phone for 5 seconds and then sleep, so nothing really. After taking my bath, if I get tired I go to bed.

"Seishun Collection", which was the assigned song for the audition. When taking the audition I came to think that I wanted to know more about the group, and eventually I thought strongly that I wanted to become part of it too.

I'm bad at short distances, but since I stopped doing figure skating and joined the Track and Field Club, I started doing long distance so I'm good at that.

Thanks Sohee! That makes more sense now XDD my brain erased the "Bu" that turned that into "Club"

As for Ha-chan (I'm adapting this until she settles into a name) not really having seen/watched any anime. A lot of my students are like that as well. Doraemon is the first thing they'll say when it comes to anime and most won't have really watched anything else. If she was younger, she might have been pulled along by the Yokai Watch craze, but maybe not.

Maria seems to have a very up in the air quality to her. She's not grounded at all I got that from seeing her and from her answers to some of these questions as well. I'm wondering how her personality will grow as she takes on the challenge of being in MM or if she'll just float through it effortlessly. Though she's not my top of the four, I'm keeping an eye on her.

Yeah, pica is a symptom for anemia, but I'm pretty sure most of us when we were kids, we pretty much crunched on ice as well.

Plus, if Harunan did have anemia, she looks waaaaaay more healthier than Fuyuka.

I'm not trying to be mean at all. During Fuyuka's time in H!P, she looked unhealthy from malnutrition, which is why I kinda was happy that she looks a bit healthier now. With Haachin, with just her past pictures, she looks healthy. Hopefully, Haachin (and any other 12ki member) will stay healthy and have a reasonable run in Morning Musume. (^^)

I think it's interesting that Maria (basically) seems to have become a fan of the group she auditioned for because she auditioned for it. It's nice that she was intrigued enough to want to learn more, and that she grew to love it.
