After days of watching figure skating, I'm rooting for Yuzuru Hanyu. He is currently in the lead for Men's Single and broke record in Short Program. Hopefully he does well in the Free Skate.

Japan is on their way for their first gold!

With Patrick Chan scoring lower than Yuzuru Hanyu in Free Skating, it might just be in their hands. XD Hanyu is currently in first place in overall.

Edit: Event completed. Yuzuru Hanyu takes gold.

Tatsuki Machida and Daisuke Takahashi takes 5th and 6th place respectively.

Much congrats to Hanyu! I'm excited that he won. :w00t:

I was really really really rooting for Hanyu to get the gold on this. I knew that Americans weren't that strong this year (And with Plushenko's sudden retirement) and Hanyu is pretty much a baller skater regardless of country and I just really wanted to see the first Asian male take it. I'm am so happy he won!
