In terms of singing and dancing experience obviously it counts, but Karin being a trainee hardly makes her more experienced with things such as TV recordings and leading a group etc. Despite being senpai in certain fields, she (and Sayuki etc) hardly has the maturity to lead a group which has people 5 years older than her. Yuka is obviously not the one who will be doing the dance teaching or singing advising, but I'm not hesitant at all on that she and Tomoko will lead the group just perfectly as their maturity and common sense/knowledge is what will hold the group together the most - more than any ability to sing or dance well.

Karin says they had dance lessons for Romance no Tochuu. she says the rhythm is difficult this time. the song is very cool, but refreshing.

Their outfit's in the announcement clip look great! I especially want to own Akari's jumper~ I'm super proud that they made to their major début but we all knew they were so talented that their was little doubt that they would make it. I really hope UF* don't waste this opportunity and really promote the hell out if this single!

@bold part about the recordings, I would like to point out that Karin worked as a narattor for more than a year at Pink-Kiss doing tons of recordings. She had also released, if I recall correctly, 3 singles in relation to Pink-Kiss

Karin's weakness would be leadership tho. It is true that she doesn't have experience leading a group. I think that was why Tsunku formed the Kanojo ni Naritai group. To give Karin a chance at leadership and to see what she can or cannot do.
