I've seen that clip before. Can't people take into account the anamorphic video source when uploading said clips to YouTube so the aspect ratio doesn't get botched!!!

Back to topic. I don't know what happened to the sound in that clip, as it was just shit. In the propper version(I saw it on BD, and assume DVD should audible too), it's still very soft, but I can definitely hear it. I heard without any prior knowledge of it being in the film.

When I heard it the first time, I though, "that sounds like a Musume song", and it took me a minute or two of scrubbing through songs in my head before realizing it's Sexy Boy.

I swear the juvenile internet's fascination with Japanese tentacle porn meme is more worrying than the actual pervasiveness of such works lol not that I actively went looking for it or anything. I just uhh... haven't come across that many instance of this trope played straight in my circles recently

Not sure if this counts as "in the wild" but I was the judge for my local anime con (Otakuthon)'s Otakuthon Idol competition. This year in the finals we had 7 soloists and 2 groups and BOTH groups sang H!P songs (Nanchatte Renai and Loving you too much).

I complimented both on their song choices (honestly though I knew a girl from each group personally so I was not too surprised)

And HSW is listed on imbd. I never checked the credits in the actual movie. It's still a mystery to me if it is actually in the film.

Sexy Boy I 100% can hear in the film.

^In the making of video for Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba, Captain and Chinami were fooling around, as usual. At one point they jump up and then landed at a different location - they made a "jump" Chii called it a "time slip". But this happened loooooong before that movie

That does sound very familiar. If I haven't seen that, then I would have seen something similar with H!P. But I'm pretty sure I've seen that.

This might be a complete coincidence, but I was watching Kamen Rider OOO's and two of the secondary characters were named Doctor Maki and Gotou Shintaro.
