I don't think it is at all.

Asian Celebration is... well, just like Jessi I can't even describe what it tries to be. I feel like it mostly attempts to be Tsunku-funky, but mixed with some bland deliberately-tame K-Pop and sans any kind of instrumentation. The silly part is that nothing about it says "Asian Celebration", not even the lyrics. It should be titled "Generic Celebration That Was Over Before 11 p.m.".

If BK is going to have their elusive #1 single then they have to go 100% in on what they have had their greatest success on: They need to be an Anime group. They need to have some anime made about them and they have to shoehorn their personalities into standard anime tropes. Since they already do Berryz Kamen there's no reason why they wouldn't be able to do this. All they really need is for H!P to try to make the show happen.

Exactly. I love their music over the past few years and I'd wreck the 7 of them something fierce. But I'm only one guy.

The only way they'd probably ever get a #1 would be a pervy gimmick on a week when the #2 song sold like garbage.

I thought they were 100% hotness in WANT! but Japan basically didn't GAF about Risako's ass in a teddy.

I know most of y'all didn't like that song. I still think they should've mixed the mess out of it and promoted it in dance clubs.

I think that even though Berryz' concept is that each girl is special and different in her own way, the fact that they are THAT different in attitude, style, looks, etc... makes it hard for many to see them as a group... I mean as much different as they can be, a group should always have a common factor or such, and Berryz have also been around for so long that it's normal that they lose a bit of their charisma and genkiness.
I still have high hopes for the upcoming single though, it HAS to be something fresh and soothing.
