What was the most surprising thing?
Kouhaku. Having 3 consecutive number 1 singles is apparently not enough. Outside of selling millions, I don't know what else MM has to do to get into it.

What was the most disappointing thing?
Kouhaku. Not that the ones that did get invited didn't deserve it. On the contrary, all of them must have worked hard to get in (or at least, their managements did). Still, it was probably the best shot the girls had in years. Their stock is still rising, so a little consistency might help them this 2014.

Out of the new members, who's your favourite?
Rikako perhaps? I don't follow Juice-Juice so I settled for Kenshuusei.

Whose graduation are/were you most sad about?
Reina by default.

Which releases of 2013 were your favourites?
All of MM's.

Which releases of 2013 were your least favourites?
Berryz Kobo's. Not that they were really bad. But compared to MM and C-ute (and sometimes Smileage), a bit underwhelming.

Overall, which group had the best releases?
Morning Musume.

Overall, which group had the worst releases?
Berryz Kobo.

What would you like to see more of in 2014?
-Another year of solid releases.
-Those Kenshuusei are pretty good.
-TV appearances.

What would you like to see less of in 2014?
-Lengthy treatises by fans as to why their particular favorite should be placed in front, is a much more deserving center, and must have lines. If we had the power to effect changes, it should have happened already.

What are your hopes for 2014?
-Consistency for MM. Own that weekly number 1 spot.
-A turnaround in BK's fortunes. The Budokan was great, but it was just one night. Same with Smileage.
-More new fans for MM and H!P in general.

What are your fears for 2014?
-Graduations in MM. Not yet please. Tell the axe-man to come back in 2015.
-Graduations in H!P. As much as we'd like them to stay forever, some of the former H!P Kids are old enough to have kids of their own. They can still give other acts a run for their money, but the clock is ticking for the H!P kids.

What was the most surprising thing?
Annoucement that Aina would leave J=J before their major debut.

What was the most disappointing thing?
Kouhaku and end of year shows for MM. (probably it was Yaguchi's fault :P )

Out of the new members, who's your favourite?
Does Karin count as a new member? (well, she was kenshuusei). If not, then Tomoko

Whose graduation are/were you most sad about?
Aina. While she wasn't one of my favorites, it felt like J=J wasn't complete without her, and it took a while for me to accept that.

Which releases of 2013 were your favourites?
Wagamama is just perfect, and I realize Help Me is still an amazing song. Plus, it has probably the best dance in an idol group ever.
Heck, Adam to Eve was also great, and most of J=J was great too. Overall we had a pretty good year in terms of music quality.

Which releases of 2013 were your least favourites?
Romance no Tochuu, Tabidachi no Haru ga Kita.
C-ute's latest single was pretty disappointing. It wasn't bad, but it was boring, boring. They had so much better releases before it.

Overall, which group had the best releases?
MM by far. It's not even close. (and the other groups did have some quality releases!)

Overall, which group had the worst releases?
S/Mileage's. They had a couple nice songs though. And they weren't as bad as in 2012 where their music was just awful

What would you like to see more of in 2014?
MM getting more exposure on TV. That the girls can develop their personalities better in TV.

What would you like to see less of in 2014?
Momochi :mikihead:
And the 48 groups monopolizing everything. Give MM a chance ;)

What are your hopes for 2014?
MM going to the Kouhaku and most end of year shows
Keep the #1 streak
Better music for S/mileage and Berryz
First PBs for Eripon, Maachan, all of J=J girls and the next PBs for Duu, Fukuchan and Riho.
S/mileage gets a 3rd gen

What are your fears for 2014?
Sayumi graduating
Any graduation

Berryz and S/mileage keeps being disappointing. Or rather, S/mileage goes back to getting disappointing releases. Berryz keep getting disappointing releases. And Berryz and S/mileage keeps being managed in a disappointing way.

What was the most surprising thing?

This may be like the most controversial question out of all. ever.

The most surprising thing I guess, it's how I turned to be a fan of H!P.

This ain't going for short so watch out.

It was a bit strange, the whole story. I've knonw ManoEri for more than 2 years maybe, and I loved her at the first glance. It waas an arrow shot. But I didn't get to see any of the rest of H!P until last year's october(September?). I had seen many pictures and many names until then, but I had never been aware of what was it all about. And then, pum, it just happenned - I don't remember how exactly but I got to see Ren'ai Hunter and it really captivated me. I also check out Wakuteka Take a chance and it shocked me too. BUT.... it happenned that at these times I was having some problems, not-a-joke-to-have-with, and I didnt know how to manage them all nor how even to understand my own self. Basically, I was nobody, and because that there were so many thing that just shocked me at the same time, I didn't know how to react, how to become somebody, how to do anything.

It was so bad that when Help me! came out, I saw it almost immediately, but I couldn't resist even 1 minute, it was turning me crazy....

So yeah, this is not the happy ending where Momusu were so great, that they inspired me and I was able to fight against all the bad stuuf and get over all the crazyness. Brilliant me, genius me, I just decided to get rid of it and just ignore all about Momusu and H!P (except for ManoERi, curiously). At the far end, maybe I just knew that they were good actually and just wanted to protect them from all the bad thing that were raining over me. But curiously again, I guess it worked.

It was this March, they I just saw by mere chance, published by the H!P unofficial Facebook page, which I had "liked" also by chance months ago, a video with a girl with it's eyes closed and wearing red lipstick. I thought myslef, hmmmm this looks interesting, maybe it's something cool. So I added it to "watch later", and on next day ...
I was just been overcome by pretty and energic Juice=Juice's Watashi ga Iu Mae Dakishienakya ne. (By these times I had learnt already how to get over bad things, not sure how, maybe it's just life). So that pretty much started it all. In less than a week I found all the basics that I needed to know about H!P, and how was it related to Momusu in order to start exploring it. And not only it but also much much mre of the J-pop world. And I'm still exploring it. It's just awesome.

Third time curiously, I found to know about ManoEri trough Facebook too, and laso by mere chance, from a guy I don't know actually directly (phisically?).
So thumbs up for Facebook, such a great source of information.

Also it also turned out that, H!P is really helping me to stay strong, unexpected by the circumstances. I guess, I'm not the only one.

And yeah, this is why Ren'ai Hunter and Watashi ga Iu Mae Dakishimenakya ne are my favourite songs.
And now I love Help me!

So yeah..... summed up, the most fascinating about H!P this year was discovering and exploring H!P itself...

What was the most disappointing thing?

Getting to know how all the industry of J-pop works, many of girl's conditions. Though I must say, H!P is where I found them to stay the best, they're pretty liberal.

Out of the new members, who's your favourite?

Not sure how to answer to this.
-> Considering them all new, because I got to know them this year, it would be Sayumi. (I love Maa-chan too)
-> Considering the ones that entered this year.... AKARI  , (she counts, right?)

Whose graduation are/were you most sad about?

I love ManoEri, but her's was kinda expected, and Reina is still like, across the street, so...

AINA! :crying:

Which releases of 2013 were your favourites?
Alllll of Momusu's.
All of Juice=Juice's except Ten Made Noboru! :/
All of S/mileage's.
Cute's Adam to Eve no dilemma(Kanashiki Amefuri.
Berryz's Rock Erotic.

I also loved Satoumi Movement's one and Asahi's two singles.
And yeah, Jurin

Which releases of 2013 were your least favourites?

In agreed with many people here, Golden Chinatown wasn't very cool.

Overall, which group had the best releases?

Bitch, please, Momusu.

Overall, which group had the worst releases?

I guess Berryz.

What would you like to see more of in 2014?

- MORE LINES for some of the girls!
- More TV shows and different performances, more appearances of the girls in media.
- Improve Berryz FTW!!!!
- MORE PHOTOSHOOTS WITH THE OUTFITS, PLEASE!
- COntinue with H!P's liberalism :yahoo:

What would you like to see less of in 2014?

- Less faked smiles and if needed more maturity. They're kinda improving on it already although.
- Less mainstream pop, within the rest of the J-pop world too.

What are your hopes for 2014?

Starra wrote:-MORE KENSHUUSEI UNITS.
-More Juice=Juice amazingness. (They don't need to do anything except exist.)

I'm with you.

Sohee wrote:12th gen Morning Musume
3rd gen S/mileage
More haircolors in Morning Musume (I need Ikuta blonde ffs.)

Agree with it too.

- I hope Momusu continues striking number 1s consecutively and C-ute actually gets to number 1 at least once.
Who knows, maybe Juice=Juice gets to it too.

_ I also hope for more awesomeness, just continiue your pace H!P !

What are your fears for 2014?

-DEFINITELY A GRADUATION. ANY GRADUATION. :hmmm:

- Maybe a messup with some of the releases.

What would you suggest to Tsunku in order to keep improving?

- Less autotune! Let the girls shine out with their natural voice! Specially these who stay at the nack most of the times! More lines for them! Just do as you Managed to do with S/mileage's last single.

What would you like to say to the girls to cheer them on?

- Girls, you're awesome! Continue being yourselves and you'll continue brightening.

Sorry for messing up with the original script and for making it that long.

What was the most surprising thing?
S/mileage's Comeback. They had an amazing year. They were my least favorite last year and this year they are #2

The Success of Wagamama Kinomama Ai no Joke. I got worried for a moment that they would become stagnant at 100k or start selling less, but nope!

What was the most disappointing thing?
BerryzKobo. Not a good year for them overall.

Out of the new members, who's your favourite?
Oda Sakura and Tamura Meimi

Whose graduation are/were you most sad about?
Ootsuka Aina leaving Juice=Juice
:( Aina noooo! COMEBACK!

Which releases of 2013 were your favourites?
Singles: Yattaruchan, Atarashi Watashi ni Nare, Help Me, Wagama Ki no Mama Ai no Joke, Ai no Gundan, Brainstorming, Adam to Eve no Dilemma
CDS: Morning Musume THE BEST, 2 Smile Sensation

Which releases of 2013 were your least favourites?
Golden Chinatown was like the worst H!P song I've heard in a while and the PV was terrible.
I try to pretend it never existed, but people here love it.

Overall, which group had the best releases?
Morning Musume and S/mileage, but C-ute comes in third.

Overall, which group had the worst releases?
BerryzKobo

What would you like to see more of in 2014?
Ikemen Maasa, Kensuusei <3

What would you like to see less of in 2013?
Whatever Berryz is doing now. Their last single was better, but not amazing.

What are your hopes for 2013?
Even higher sales for Morning Musume, S/mileage continues its streak of amazingness and sales start to rise, C-ute comes out with something equal in greatness to Aitai Aitai Aitai na, and Berryz goes back to something more similar to their Inazuma days and I love them again.

AT LEAST TWO OR THREE KENSUUSEI GROUPS

Morning Musume goes to Kohaku!

What are your fears for 2014?
Singles for all the groups become awful, Morning Musume and C-ute lose all their new female fans and H!P goes back into obscurity while AKB48 fans laugh maniacally.

Inoue Hikaru gets into the next KSS group (SHES NOT READY)

Someone gets an ugly haircut
