What was the most surprising thing?
MaiMai finally giving me enthusiasm, I was afraid that I would for always get that stare from her. But this year, at last, she herself cured me from my MaiMai phobia, thank you miss Hagiwara. :)

What was the most disappointing thing?
Not being able to go to Berryz Kobo's and Kanyon's graduation concerts.

Out of the new members, who's your favourite?
Angerme 3rd gen & all members of Kobushi Factory.

Whose graduation are/were you most sad about?
Kanyon. I had become quite rational about graduations, but somehow Kanyon hit me a bit more then expected. Berryz were my 1st favorites, but somehow I accepted that their reign had ended. With Kanyon I never realized that she's always been there since the start of my H!P fandom. My first H!P concert was Berryz Kobo, my 2nd the H!P eggs, both in 2007 and I do remember Kanyon standing out back then as a tiny girl. My 3rd concert that year was Melon Kinenbi, but that's a whole different level of awesomeness + major bragging rights for a H!P fan. Here graduation really made me look back at all the wonderful moments she gave us/me. Thank you Kanyon, love you for always.

Which releases of 2015 were your favourites?
Taiki Bansei
..
..
..
big gap between freaking awesome and very good
..
..
..
Dosukoi! Kenkyo ni Daitan
Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san no Uta
The Middle Management
First Squeeze!

Which releases of 2015 were your least favourites?
C-ute's last single

Overall, which group had the best releases?
Angerme, Kobushi Factory

Overall, which group had the worst releases?
The Morning Musume '15 singles didn't really leave a big impression on me this year.

What would you like to see more of in 2016?
Kobushi Factory
Shimizu Saki, she should become the new Natsu Sensei.

What would you like to see less of in 2016?
Standard music video's.
Uber-cute Country Girls

What are your hopes for 2016?
I know it's not going to happen, simply because groups are too successful, but I would like to see a proper soloist within H!P.
Maybe some international collaborations.
Cool Country Girls
An all out mainstream breakthrough as an actor for Mano Erina, I still love you Mano-chan.
Kamiko-chan turning out to actually be a godly idol...

What are your fears for 2016?
That we will see more and more generic Japanese pop songs, please Up Front, keep the musical spirit of Tsunku alive in all the groups.
No Miyabi group.

What are your fears for 2018?

What was the most surprising thing?
New group system.
Duu graduating.
Kobushi Factory losing so many members.
Digital singles.

What was the most disappointing thing?
Country Girls downgrading to a subgroup.
The reason/speculation why the 3 KF members left.
No winners from the audition.
BD/DVD single.
Ichioka group still hasn't been announced.

Out of the new members, who's your favorite?
Last years' late addition Yokoyama skyrocked in my books.
This year's additions I only like Kawamura Ayano
From KSS, the new members I like are Doi, Nakayama, Shutto, and Kanemitsu.

Whose graduation are/were you most sad about:
Kudo Haruka. I didn't cared about her at first, but I saw the light near the end of her run in Momusu. :crying:

Increase in TV/Magazine appearances. Satisfied with this year, love to see them improve next year.

What would you like to see less of in 2018?
Boring ass segments on Hello!Sta. All of tiny tiny.
Short PVs. As well as people complaining when the short pv makes complete sense.

Obviously more KSS debuts. Hopefully Ichioka Group is finally established and Kobushi Factory has new additions sometime in 2018.
Sayashi returning and becomes a vocal & dance artist in H!P.
Inaba Manaka having more activities. At least give her an original song soon!
Someone blows up in popularity, becomes their girl of H!P. We have a number of aces, but I don't think we have anyone in legendary status.
Kobushi Factory starting strong in 2018.
I may sound like a jerk, but Aika graduating from H!P. She's getting at that age and seems to enjoy being a student at the moment. Plus H!P already has an English-speaker representative with Nonaka Miki.
A H!P family release. 2011 was 5 years ago and so many changes happened.

What are your fears for 2018?
Aikawa Maho graduates without a proper graduation ceremony. If she plans to leave, I'd love to see her one last time.
More scandals, especially within Kobushi Factory.
Qki graduation.
Any H!P member under the 5 year minimum graduating.
More health issues
Country Girls disbands. Yamaki and Ozeki don't seem satisfied with the current situation.

They let Kobushi Factory keep working hard as 5 members.
No more departures because of illness.
Kobushi Factory triple a-side.
Another Tsunku song for Kobushi Factory.
Morning Musume adds 1 or 3 members for the 15th generation, nearing the mid-end of the year.
BEYOOOOONDS quickly releases an indies single.
We get the group name/some kind of explanation for the three newest BEYOOOOONDS members.

They keep up the PV game.

Re: Year in Review Thread

What was the most surprising thing?
Kobushi Factory not getting new members.
OG's returning to the stage (Kago, Ichii, Goto)
ONLY YOU audition actually having winners.
New ANGERME members
Suzuki Airi's post °C-ute career. Shows that there is more than stage plays and FC events for OG's if they really want it to happen.

What was the most disappointing thing?
Juice=Juice's graduation announcements
After a promising start with the new strategy, H!P Youtube channels lack of decent content
Yoshizawa Hitomi.
The horrendously long ONLY YOU audition / BEYOOOOONDS process.

Overall, which group had the best releases?
Tsubaki Factory

What would you like to see (new/more of) in 2019?
BEYOOOOONDS starts releasing actual things.
Keep up the photobook release schedule. Lot of girls are getting them and they're more interesting than before.
UF getting better about digital distribution (both their music and video content)
For UF-LINK to actually be an overseas community manager instead of...whatever he/it is now.
Subtitles on MV's dissapear or get better. Subtitles (decent ones) on non-MV content, or UF opens up the community subtitles feature on Youtube.
Another all H!P single (arranged by Okubo Kaoru and more in the style of tracks like OK YEAH! and Dokka~n Capriccio)
The Aki Fes becomes a yearly thing.
MM Germany gets arrested.
Regular streaming shows.
UF ditches DVD for their FC releases and switched to Blu-ray (they post the previews in 1080p on Youtube yet we can only buy the SD versions on disc )

What would you like to see less of in 2019?
Non H!P UF groups who aren't Up Up Girls stagnating: either get them to a respectable level or end it.
Less illnesses, injuries,etc.

What are your hopes for 2019?
Stability, as much as possible for a while. We've had a bit of a tumultuous time behind us and might need a small breather.
Juice=Juice additions.
Last chance for Kobushi Factory to get new members. After this, it would be inadvisable to add any more.
New Morning Musume addition (Trainee or audition, either one works)
H!P Trainees Hokkaido receiving new members and having Hokkaido Trainees debut.
Maria keeps dominating magazine covers.
The return of Alo-Hello!
Takeuchi Akari photobook.
Less stage plays, musicals, more focus on other content (TV, Youtube)
No scandals, minor or major.
Karin getting to release some of her self produced work.

What are your fears for 2019?
UF trying to be experimental with BEYOOOOONDS and not succeeding.
Ozeki Mai & Yamaki Risa remain in no group limbo.
Kobushi Factory losing members for any reason.
Even outside UF, Riho not returning to showbizz.
More idols leaving because of school (i.e less idols becoming idols for the sake of being idols instead of just something fun to do before college).
Either UF not noticing the problem with MM Germany or having that whole affair damage their outlook on foreign fans.
The so called '25 year old limit' remains in place.
