Probably the reason that they didn't pair Dawa and Haruna is the same reason that they didn't pair Mano and Maimi: The wota perceive them as real life couples.

Miyabi and Maimi are good. Chinami and Nakky aren't great singers but also really not that bad at all. Haruna is the only one whose voice I don't like too much and doesn't sing very well at this point. So overall I think they will sound fine.

Miyabi is a talented singer.
Maimi's voice, while typically on key, is the same sound as when you rape a newborn kitten over a pit of lava wired with speakers blasting Koharu's audition version of Furusato.
