Great news! The negotiators have agreed to extend the current contract until August 4th, and BART service is supposed to resume today. So even if the strike starts up again, it'll be in August, after J-Pop Summit.

I'm so glad that BART's working again, at least for the rest of this month. Not only do I need it to get to J-pop Summit, but also to other stuff on the peninsula, like the Silent Film Festival at the Castro two weeks from now, as well as a flight out of SFO next week....
