It's $67.00 from Ontario (in California ) to Oakland on the 27th, and $69.00 back on the same day.
if I drove, the cost of gas would be about $100.00.

Actually, it's more like lucky San Franciscans -- I'm in the same state, and it's a 400 mile (640+ km) one-way trip for me.
And for people in the Midwest or on the East Coast, it's an entire continent away...

idk how far it is from LA but it's enough for me not to be able to afford it, being a student and all. Had it been 2 weeks later, I wouldn't even have hesitated. But... yeah. Announcing it 3 weeks in advance, really? How considerate. Pisses me off that I won't be able to go. Honestly it'd be less frustrating if it was another country or even just on the east coast. But being so damn close and still not being able to go... really damn frustrating.

I completely understand you guys. ^^;;

I mean, you guys from LA have to spend at least $100 on just getting your way to the Bay Area. Then, spending extra money on other need and goods can really build up.

And like stated, it is really cheap for those who live near by. If BART goes back to business by then, I'd only have to spend $15 for a ride to and from San Francisco. If I go both days, that'd be $30. Food wouldn't be a problem because of cheaper alternatives (buy food from DAISO or even bring from home), plus i don't have to stay at a hotel or anything. Of course, one would spend tons of money over there, especially if they decide to sell Lovender merchendise. $100 would actually be a maximum I would spend.
