i think it'll depend on who he finds in the 11ki auditions.
if he finds a good singer with presence who is instantly popular with fans, that'll be enough to give the announcement come January that Reina will be graduating in the fall (or whenever they chose to graduate, i can't predict that shit anymore.. they graduate whenever the hell they feel like these days, even if they have to change their usual tour pattern). if whoever Tsunku picks doesn't fill the front girl role nicely, Reina might stay a while longer.

My guess is that it's probably a lead-in to Reina's grad -- but if it is, it could be much better than the typical "give them a big sendoff and forget about them" graduation, since more than a few people over the years have speculated that Reina has potential as a rock singer.

if nothing else, it will be an interesting experiment...

I don't even know how to react to this. I just agree that this seems like priming Reina for graduation.

Edit: also, if any of the 15-17 year olds are smart, I'd just double audition for both Suppin Utahime and this. Either way you're likely to have a major debut (albeit MM. would be better). Even better if a girl double audition advanced in both and was forced to choose between MM. and the band. Ooh the drama that could be had
