７人組アイドルグループ、スマイレージの前田憂佳（１６）が１２月３１日で芸能界を引退することが２４日、分かった。今後は大学進学に向けて学業に専念する。

　２００９年４月の結成から参加し中心的メンバーだった前田は、「大学に進学したいという気持ちが自分の中でだんだん大きくなってきていることに気付きました」とコメント。プロデューサーのつんく♂（４２）は、「二足のわらじという方法もあったが、そんなに器用なタイプではない」と説明した。

　前田は１２月２８日発売予定のシングル「プリーズ　ミニスカ　ポストウーマン！」のプロモーション活動に年内いっぱいは参加。１２月３１日はＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦の当日で、紅白の大舞台で引退の花道を飾ることができるか。

This whole thing's just ridiculous. Why release a single on the birthday of a girl that's graduating mere days later? The Single V will be released after she's gone.

It's also all very poor planning to have had it announced in the paper before somewhere official. Bleh.

Also, hilarious. Remember when all the girls were answering "Yuuka" as whose voice they'd liek to have, and everyone was like, "Ohhhh, bet she's next to go solo!"
Well, that was half-right.
