People kept saying she was really adorable and I was like, "Yes, but she's also pretty. Why aren't you talking about her prettiness?!" Ha ha.

I mean, I can definitely see cute (and just because, guys can be cute too without being girly, had nothing to do with being a tomboy or not) but pretty?
I really hope I come to like her eventually though. A year is too soon, I think, but maybe two year could do something.

clearly, she' not matured and i certainly wouldn't go into worlds like "beautiful", but i don't think "pretty" denotes maturity the way "beauty" does.. like, i hear mom's all the time complimenting someone else's kid by saying "she's such a pretty girl".
