^ Pretty sure they're comparing the outfits (..and I guess the sets?).

Though I don't get it either, because the only things that are similar with the outfits are the colors. Everything else is completely different.

For me:
- concept
- the costumes, like the designs of the embroidery and the colours
- the pv background with the led lights and the redness

Concept's in PV's are not as protected and respected as melodies and lyrics in songs.

It's not like Beastie Boys fans got mad at Tommy Feburary6 ...

Is that screenshot even from a PV or a performance? AKB videos usually look much grander than that.

It's from the dance version of the PV.

I have to say, when I saw the Berryz costumes, it definitely made me think of that AKB single, not to say that I think they are copied, but they definitely remind me of that.

The song? Not so much. The PV? Yes.

Yeah. The real PV is some 18-minute kung fu movie sort of deal. The lyrics, however, are about.. summer love on a beach? something like that lol.

So what do you guys think? Should there be another section in the first post called "Deja (P)Vu"?

I have also thought of adding the Mari stuff to the "Upfront to Society" thread, but I think the story is still playing out and I don't want to jump to conclusions.

I posted this...

otaku_blue wrote:I still think that if they just made English or Japanese closed captions for videos they upload, it'd make things a hell lot easier. It'd be heck lot more easier to translate those captions than audio.

and then now for the Hello Station videos in the description it now says:
