one edition will be released under Piccolo Town Label (Berryz), and the other Zetima (C-ute).

It looks like there will be 6 versions.

Limited A Piccolo - with DVD, Berryz Kobo version
Limited B Piccolo - event ticket
Regular Piccolo - nothing

Limited A Zetima - with DVD, C-ute version
Limited B Zetima - event ticket
Regular Zetima - nothing

Since Zetima is distributed by Sony it's only those 3 version that are on their website, the Piccolo Town version won't be on there. What makes it confusing is that Neowing only have the Piccolo Town versions for now and not the Zetima. We know for sure that there are 6 versions when we will see all 6 versions on 1 independent shopping site.

Simple answer is that they want to give the 2 labels of the 2 groups a piece of the pie.

But if it's like this it will mean that there will be 2 chart entries. In other words, it will be a direct chart battle between Berryz and C-ute.

Looking farther ahead, I think UFA is laying the groundwork to reunite the Kids into a single group. Joint play, joint movie, joint concert, and now a joint single… It's too much in too short a time to be a coincidence. Both groups' sales have been declining, and they're all reaching the age when some of them will want to move on. Reuniting may be the only way for those who stay to survive.
