^ It's Fox. *shrug*

True enough, I probably shouldn't have expected that it would fit exactly what I wanted. I do enjoy "Gotham" though so I guess I'll give it a few episodes when it airs.

Speaking of Fox — it's Galaxy Quest, the series…

An obvious comparison, I know, but that's how obvious the show itself appears to be.

(hey, i'm just doing my part to try to keep this forum active. there's so little actual H!P news right now, since they just finished several releases and are now out on their spring tours.)

Speaking of SciFi shows, I'm still bummed CBS is shoving the new "Star Trek" series behind a paywall to attract people to their streaming service. If it doesn't bring in a decent paying audience I imagine the show will be blamed and dropped after one season.

Once upon a time there was a space comedy on Yahoo called Other Space:

I was rewatching Daria recently and I started to ponder what Daria would look like if it was remade as an Anime (like Powerpuff Girls Z). Unfortunately, I think it would look like Super GALS and Quinn would be the lead character. Either that or Daria would be made very sex-obsessed and it would look like WataMote.

^ If they were seriously going to do it I think a "Princess Jellyfish" art style would suffice (but something like "Kimi ni Todoke" would be interesting next to the harsh personalities in the show - as much as those would carry over anyway).

I'm finally catching up on Orphan Black in anticipation of the fifth and final season, and while I still have the same concerns about the plotting of the show itself…

…I gotta say that Tatiana Maslany freakin' earned that Emmy last year. It's uncanny: I genuinely forget sometimes that it's the same actress playing, like, a dozen different characters in total and often 3–4 different characters at the same time. Every one of them is so distinct.

*checks her Wikipedia page*

Yup, she's won pretty much alllll of the awards. Good for her.
