The Expanse is finally available on Amazon Prime Video. Nifty.
I also have to catch up on the new Dirk Gently series and season 4 of Orphan Black, both on BBC America's website.
Except for live sports, there really is no reason to have a traditional cable package anymore, as long as you're willing to wait for what you want to come to one of the other services. Game of Thrones is the only thing I still have to watch immediately, as it is being broadcast, and that only requires a couple months of HBO NOW each year.
Every year I hope some random channel will decide to play the one Christmas movie I haven't been able to watch since I was in middle school and our VHS copy burned out on us, "The Night They Saved Christmas". Every year I'm disappointed.
Thank you! It won't be the same as being able to watch it with my family on the couch, but it feels great to see it again (and even better to hear it again).
Attack on Titan is even better the second time through, when you catch all of the clues that were there from the beginning. Shonen manga/anime is not usually this subtle. Even the murals shown during the end credits are full of clues.
