I should watch the original again. I've seen like maybe 75-90% of each season because when I was growing up the video rental stores around my house had bits and pieces of the series.
Honestly I could watch it all again even just for the music alone.

I knew it was going to be delayed again! 
It was just cutting it too close for winter.
Now a decent company needs to hop on licensing the original series (and movies) for physical re-release in the US.

Regarding Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.…
The payoff — or at least the first installment — came this week, and it was worth it. It wasn't as wacky or fantastical as it could have been, given that this is the Marvel Universe. In fact, it was logical and inevitable, like a punch to the gut.
There still seems to be a lot of filler, so that out of 22 episodes only 6–8 actually matter, but I suppose that's true of any series. Even a Joss Whedon series. But the Joss Whedon magic is starting to shine through.
