Nobuta is awesome. Hanakimi was hilarious, even if Maki's acting was so-so the supporting cast made that drama. Though it was a drama that I just barely managed to watch as the style of the drama was a bit too... weird. People compared it to Nodame back then, and they said it was a "light version". Which makes me realise that I would never be able to watch Nodame. At all. As if my hate for Ueno Juri wasn't enough, that style of drama would make me wanna kill someone.

My favorite dramas are all historical; Atsu-hime, Ryomaden, JIN. But "Kareinaru ichizoku" was absolutely amazing. Same goes for "CHANGE".

I've seen way too many to be able to rank all of them though. I did enjoy My Boss My Hero, Dragon Zakura (Blond Yamapi, Gakky, Masami, AND ABE HIROSHI *_*), Kurosagi and was strangely addicted to Liar Game. Kurosagi was quite average, but the last scene where he gets arrested saves the whole drama. I hate Maki's character with a passion though.
What got me to watch both seasons and the movie of Liar Game was the games though. The drama itself was awful. And Toda Erika's acting just got worse as it went on. I still have a hard time for her, but having rewatched some Cold Blue stuff I'm slowly warming up to her again, I think.

i'm not a fan of historical dramas. i like more modern settings.

i almost forgot about Ishihara Satomi in Puzzle. and GTO.

most challenging drama to watch was Jyoou no Kyoushitsu with Shida Mirai.

one i couldnt finish was 14sai no haha.

Well I love history. ;P

I dropped Puzzle. and GTO was awesome.
Joou no Kyoushitsu and 14sai no haha were both amazing. Shida Mirai is an amazing actress.

14sai no haha especially was mindblowing. She got her big break with that. I love dramas like that; human dramas.
Similar; Aishiteru, Mother, Namae wo nakushita megami, etc. Dramatic most of the time, but not overdone and realistic.

Nagareboshi was awesome, randomly. Made me go all !!! all the time. It was amazing.

i never heard of those dramas you mentioned. dramas a few years ago were the best. the best actresses have grown up now like Horikita.

i just couldnt watch 14sai no haha and thought of her getting that pregnant easily or whatever happened. 1 liter of tears was obviously Sawajiri's best. lost respect for her after her wild change.

i slowed drifted back to anime.

You only say those from a few years ago were the best because you've watched them. There are several promising actresses still. And what the hell, what does it mean "they've grown up"? They're still acting, so what difference does it make?

Sawajiri is a wonderful actress. Her being a bitch doesn't make her acting any less amazing.
If 14sai no haha made you think of Shida getting pregnant and all, only gotta mean she did the role damn well.

They're not that huge... Some episodes are just 300-400 mb these days. o-o;
But if streaming is what you want. :P I can't stand it myself. XD
