That's the best song they've had in a while, imo.
I hope LISA being back isn't
just for their 20th anniversary.

Idol Renaissance is disbanding next month. They performed a Hello! Project live of their own before. They also took pics with Egg/Kenshuusei alumuni at Up Up Girls Budokan

Idols and idol groups are dropping like flies these days.

The idol boom was in a decline for a while. We've been seeing more local groups than established groups, especially since a good majority of established groups don't get big enough. It's normal to girls to come and go, but a shit ton of idols, it looks like an epidemic.
At least they aren't like kpop where agencies disbands group after 1 year.

Honestly, it's about time. Not that I hate idol music - obviously - but it's been dominating the charts for so long everything else hasn't really been able to break through. I mean look at the top ten in 2017, all idols. I'd like to see more variety.

So this popped up in my YT recs:
Which led me to this:
Then a friend told me about this group...
MERA - The Brightest Diamond
Which somehow brought me all the way to this?
SHE IS SUMMER - Deatte Kara Tsukiau Made no Ano Kanji
SHE IS SUMMER at least has a website, and BY2 has been around long enough, but I can't find anything (in English) about SING女團 or MERA.
