Being real tho, I guess after experimenting so goddam much, Cube was like "we aren't ready to create a unit, might as well make CLC into 4minute 2.0" and made Hyuna in charge of this release. This concept might be working on then because they are getting more attention (if we ignore the title), but damn... it's a total 360° from when I started following them back when High Heels was out.
I'm not a fan of 4minute but I do like the CLC girls, so if they do continue this road, I won't complain by then.

Dream catcher is Happy Face?? I keep trying to see if I recognize any of the girls from PD101, but I don't think I do lol. If she's not in there, did she leave the company already? She had that huge arc in PD101 being challenged to write a rap, and got huge sympathy points lol so idk why they wouldn't include one of their more well known trainees. I agree with N-K though, the release feels very Jpop. I like it though! It's very fresh as far as Kpop releases go.

On CLC: I mean, I like HobGoblin (or is it just Goblin?? Idk). But it most definitely is not a sound that is their own. They even have one member rapping in HyunA's style too. Which is weird, until I read that apparently HyunA had a lot to do with this release, from coaching the girls on how to sing certain parts, to their styling for the PV. I'm not mad at it though. Plenty of Kpop groups go thru this exploratory stage of mimicking other groups until they find a sound that suits them (remember when Sistar was a diet-2NE1?) It's just taking CLC a little longer lol. I hope they can find a happy medium between this and the cutesy stuff, which I guess Pepe kinda was that but... oh well.

DD: Dreamcatcher was a group called MINX. Their music was way different, too.

I like that CLC song. The rest of the EP is really good.
