They're certainly keeping busy! I saw them in San Francisco last year, and they'll be here again on Wednesday.

They put on a fun, high-energy show in S.F. tonight. They sold out the 1400 capacity venue, and the show was over way too fast.

Early in the set, Suzuka kicked off a shoe, which flew far into the audience; I was roughly in the center of the hall, and it went about 20 feet beyond me. Then she threw the other one into the audience, too. When she asked to have her shoes back, she got the second, nearer one, but the person who got that first one didn't give it up, despite others in the audience pointing to where it went. Suzuka gave up, took off her socks, threw them into the audience, and performed the rest of the show barefoot! During the encore, she threw the one returned shoe back into the audience, and a woman not far behind me caught it. After the encore, there was an announcement asking the people who had the shoes to bring them to the stage, but I doubt that they did. I know for a fact that the woman who caught the shoe during the encore didn't.

Sucks that she definitely wasn't getting those shoes back, but at least she was quick to adapt. Sounds like it was a fun show.

Also notable is that there are no Johnny's groups this year.
somehow I thought Mrs. GREEN APPLE had been making appearances on there for a few years. I've really gotten into them this year, so good for them!

Had a chance to catch up on some albums today and really enjoyed the heck out of PinkPantheress's new album:

Also really enjoyed Red Velvet's new album, even though the title track fell flat for me. I've pretty much always preferred their b-sides, though:
