The Da Xiao Jie facebook still seems to be active, so I once again throw my hope into the universe for a new album at some point.

Aiko is also in Japan too. I wonder why?

It's unlikely it's related at all, but it's interesting that they're both in Japan when Morning Musume just announced a future live in Taipei.

Da Xiao Jie performed at a large event recently in January. They performed a section of one of their songs and finished out "Bar Bar Bar" with Zony and Yony. Afterwards there's an MC segment where they show pictures of them from 2010, 2011, and 2012 - I don't understand anything beyond that. Their costumes were really cute. I don't know if this is the early beginnings of a comeback, but I hope so.

Frances got cute as hell. Aiko still looks exactly the same. She'll never age I guess

She's appearing in a film that will be shown at the 2018 Golden Horse Fantastic Film Festival. (I don't have time to figure out what the title is, etc. right now.)

That movie looks good, kinda Handmaiden's tale-ish. I wonder if there's a community of Chinese movie subbers like Japan or Korean subbers cuz I wanna watch it O.o

Frances is 17 now, right? I hope she doesn't start getting plastic surgery to get that samey look everyone wants in China/Korea to continue her career.

Yeah, she just turned 17 in December. I want to say I don't think she'll go that route since she already gets tons of attention for her looks, especially on Instagram. Her profile really shot off once she showed up in some list of Instagram girls and entertainment sites started doing Before vs Now with her early Da Xiao Jie photos; now even a picture of her hand holding a random drink seems to manage tens of thousands of likes.
