I used to like Rie in her earlier days but then her face got huge and she cut her hair really short and it just went downhill for me.
Plus she always made a kind of sullen look.

I'm sorry to say this, but I believe Kaneko's looks were always her lowest point... And Fukuchan in her plainest form, was still much cuter than her.

I think Kaneko wasn't made to be an idol. Not cute enough, not funny enough, not a good voice and not a great dancer. Does it makes her a bad person? No, Does it makes it hard for her to succeed as an idol? Yes.
I think she should try to do something else with her life. Good luck to her

At least outwardly she seemed to do a great job as a leader though, which must've been difficult as the size the trainee group has shot up over the last year. I haboured some crazy idea that she'd be able to keep doing that in a large group in H!P, be a stabilising force holding a group together....damn it feels like I'm talking about someone who's died. I just wish all of them could live their dreams but I know it can't always happen. It's what made me so happy seeing Juice=Juice created and especially seeing Karin finally get there after so long.

Thinking more positively I worked this out recently, only 10 Kenshuusei/eggs have not gone on to further things either H!P, UF or another area of the entertainment industry (That we know of, for all we know some who disappeared completely might turn up later or have anonymous work). Over 50% debuted within H!P or are currently in an active group UUGs, The Possible, soloist etc. I'd call that a pretty good success rate down the years overall.

Hey,how come Nakanishi gets to be an idol then? She is only funny 45% of the time . (Just kidding Kana fans.).
I don't care what anyone says: I want her (and Kaedii) to debut in 2014.

But yeah,Kana has improved in the two years. I liked her second (and last,sadly) line in Ii Yatsu.
And I like seeing her get more lines. She is my favorite in S/mileage.
I'm not bashing her or anything,I am just kidding so please don't go there with the 'atleast' stuff .
And heads up,when Kana first debuted,she was really...no.
I think since the 2012 fall tour,Kana has been pushing herself,and I am proud.
