Apparently Chihiro and Sasaki spent a year as Up Up Girls trainees before they took the final audition and it was decided they would join the group.

They're going to participate in the greetings portions of the event(s) for the 3rd single releasing in May; no performances.
なおアップアップガールズ（2）は5月1日に3rdシングル「っていう初恋のお約束 / ハッピースLOVE▽」（▽はハートマーク）を発売し、新メンバー2名はリリースイベントに挨拶のみ参加。

They'll perform for the first time at an event on July 7th.
7月7日にアップアップガールズグループ総出演のイベントを行い、そこで新体制での初パフォーマンスが披露される。

The first single to feature them will be released on August 7, 2018.

^ The single was release on Tuesday. A couple of stores reported their sales to Oricon early due to Golden Week, since it ranked on Orion before pre-release day. This week should be higher.
