My friend knows more digits of pi than Chinami . So it's not that hard to memorise them.

Eh. "It's not that hard to memorize them" surely that's a very individual question? Some people, your friend included, have it easy to remember more and some can barely remember the first two.

i was taught to only know the first few numbers of pi and rest is not important. there is a reason why we have calculators. no need to struggle.

Japanese are overachievers in math.

Asian's in general.

I only know the first two. But I'll never use it anyway as I do not plan to be anything related to math so why bother.

Yeah, it's definitely just a parlor trick. No worse than juggling or memorizing the names of all the US presidents in order or being able to multiply two digit numbers in your head, though. All just stuff to keep our minds active and to impress others.

just like C-ute, Berryz fell from their norm consistency of 22~23k down to 18k in the first week. C-ute rebounded in their second week.

disappointing they didnt make the top 10. they could have beaten 7 through 10 if AKB didnt hog the spotlight all week.

I've only memorized pi as far as 3.14159, but I can recite the greatest name in German baroque music.
