What's interesting about Nonaka to me is that she seems to be actively working on challenging herself, conquering her inherent shyness, stretching her performance chops. She doesn't seem content settling into her comfortable maintenance mode like so many other back tier MM girls have done. I wouldn't say she's entirely successful at this point, but she's got me rooting for her.

Risky song she picked there, it's basically just Aichan and Reina - two of the best singers to ever grace MM. She did much better than expected though.
I'd say that too, that Miki isn't quite there either, but her drive to get there is very endearing. I'm kind of a sucker for those that have that drive - it's what made me really like Harunan (especially after Tsunku said she was always the last to leave the dance studio because she wanted to be better. Back in the early days there were a lot of stories about her like that). I'm really wanting to see how much she pushes herself this year, because this year is going to be critical for her - she's basically gotta fight to keep the small position she already has in the middle tier, and if she wants to be a front girl she needs to fight HARD.
