We in real Northern California refer to Sacramento &the Bay Area as "Central California".

LOL, I consider the Bay Area it's own thing. I get especially mad when people have cosplay meetups in San Jose and call it a "NorCal Gathering." But I put Northern California to clarify I am nowhere near LA.

I consider the Bay Area its own thing, too. (I live in Albany, work in Berkeley.)

Having grown up in the San Joaquin Valley (Visalia, to be precise), I will never think of the Bay Area as "Central California".

User Control Panel -> Board preferences -> My board style -> Change "prosilver" to "subsilver2" -> SUBMIT
Note: I don't recommend any of the other board styles at the moment, since they're not guaranteed to work with all the board features.
