Uemura Akari, who is graduating from Juice=Juice and Hello! Project, will release her latest photobook "Strelitzia" on May 23rd. This is Uemura Akari's fourth photobook, and was produced after much consideration of styling and locations that would accentuate her charms to the fullest. Uemura's "now," a moment just prior to her graduation, was photographed in a gorgeous and glamorous manner like a Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise flower). This book is a record and a memory of Uemura Akari, who is moving forward on a new path toward a "brilliant future." Includes a making DVD.

Release date is May 23rd, 2024. 98 pages. Photographer is Madoka Sano.

Juice=Juic Uemura Akari's Photobook "Strelitzia" will be released on May 23rd.

I'm also happy because I only found out about the release date a few hours ago, but I didn't expect it to be on the 23rd.

"Strelitzia" looks like a bird flapping its wings and is called "Bird of Paradise Flower" in Japanese.

Strelitzia is the birth flower of those born on November 23 and December 16.

Here is another 23!


There is also a hidden 23 in the photo album, so please try to find it!

Since this is a photo book before graduation, I tried to imagine "what kind of pages would be fun for those who support me!"

I've come to the conclusion that you would be happy with anything, after five seconds of deliberation.

But that's really reassuring and always helpful!

For the first time, I was able to come up with my own costume ideas and suggest locations.

It was a lot of fun!

The concept of the photobook, created to commemorate Sasaki's graduation, is "Nobody Knows Sasaki Rikako Yet," and includes visual pages that make you feel like you are spending a day with her, documentary pages that give a glimpse of her relaxed and candid face when she spends time with the members, and a long interview that looks back on her life up to this point. The visual page also features a scene where Sasaki is "street-hopping" in Nakano, Tokyo, where Nakano Sun-plaza Hall, a venue where she performed many times in the past, was closed last July. The photos include some taken without makeup, some with a sexy expression, and others that showcase Sasaki's expressive skills as a model.

It has been four years since I published a book, and I am very happy to be able to preserve my idol self!
I am very happy to be able to leave behind the many facets and "colors" of myself, my true self, my words, and my friends that I have discovered through my activities up to now. I hope that those who see the film will be able to feel the love and importance that I have put into it.
After graduation, we will not see each other for a longer period of time than before, but we will never be alone.

The title is "girasol" (pronounced hirasol)
It is a Spanish word that refers to Rikako's favorite flower, the sunflower. I hope that Rikako's bright and warm aura like sunflowers will reach many people.
