S/mileage comment seems spot on. Watching the Ee ka!? performance from this week's Hello!Sute definitely showed that they aren't working at 100%. Same for a lot of S/mileage footage I see.

Berryz comment seems off. I don't really know who he's talking about because everyone in Berryz is like super thin that it's a bit alarming. Except Maasa but I'd prefer her to be a normal weight than scary skinny like Captain.

I'm looking forward to the new group. An actual announcement will probably come on the final of the Hello! Project Summer Tour. It feels so far away. D;

^ Maasa and Risako are overweight.
Don't forget they're idols, and taking care of their looks is part of their job. (zukki is the exception though, as they're trying to make it a positive thing, and she could break-through as a TV personality)

And haven't we saying all that about S/mileage for a while? They just aren't giving their all and there were also lots of talks about a 3rd gen

Maasa and Risako are NOT overweight. They are the perfect sizes for adults.
Overweight is like 300+ lbs. They look about 120-125 lbs to me.

120-125 lbs is perfect for normal girls but not for idols. Most of my girl friends(asian) are around 120 lbs and with the heights of 162-165. All of them are still trying to lose weight ALL THE TIME. And I live in NYC(not even an asian country).
Personally I don't think weight is a problem as long as the girls stay in toned. That's something risako and maasa can start to work on.

Do we really need to have this argument again?

Please, at least move it to the rants thread, where it belongs.

Doesn't the set list seem kind of short?

I hope the stage having balconies means that they'll perform at a bigger venue at the end of the tour maybe ((please please please))
