Aichan had nodules right? There's a very real risk when you get that kind of surgery you're voice is ruined forever (Julie Andrews being a very notable, and tragic, example) while that's rare, it does change your voice in the short term and sometimes forever. The biggest one, and the one your probably noticing, is voices are more "scratchy" sounding and they lose a lot of their power. Another good example of this is Dongho from NU'EST who very recently had vocal nodule surgery and is very open that his voice just isn't as powerful as it used to be and he lost a lot of range in the upper notes. That kinda sounds like what happened to Aichan here, her voice sounds much much weaker in the higher register. I dunno when she had it, but if you keep training your voice it can go away with time. Sometimes that scratchy sound doesn't go away though.
Harunan is still my oshi and HER VOICE IS SO IMPROVED. I've never been blind (deaf?) to the fact she wasn't the best singer but she has improved soooo much this last year. Most noticably with her vibrato and her singing more from her diaphragm.
