I'm all for the OGs being around for 20th anniversary stuff but boy am I getting sick of SayuReina being everywhere lol. It's not really special anymore. Plus it's not like they've been gone that long. I mean, I get it, but I'd rather have rare appearances and stuff. I just hope there aren't any OGs are Kudou's grad concert, she should be the star of the evening.

Why didn't they put Tsuji in with the rest for Shabondama tho, she was in that single too

Scheduling issues? Maybe she had time to rehearse only one song. "Shabondama" involves more members and has more complex choreography, so it would require more rehearsal, probably at times when the younger, school-age members were available but she wasn't.

My guess is that she didn't feel physically up to it. She's 30 now (wtf), she probably can't dance as well as she used to, and doing two songs in a row is pretty taxing as well.

^ Being 30 does not mean you suddenly aren't physically capable. As long as she's staying in shape, which I have to imagine she is, she would be fine. It seems more likely to me that she wouldn't have a lot of time to dedicate to it with her home life and her own work.

I don't mind Sayumi and Reina popping up a lot, but I would love it if Niigaki, Yoshizawa, and Nakazawa showed up.

I know lol, but she wouldn't be used to dancing as much any more, and doing two songs is quite a bit. I'm not saying she's unfit or anything, just that she might not've felt up to doing it.

And who knows how close to the concert they decided to do this to begin with. Time/schedules are most definitely a factor too.

You also need to remember that Tsuji has three kids. Unlike the rest of the girls. Just be glad she came back at all for one song.

Tsuji is basically just a talent and has always said she is not good at singing.

Even the best singers go out of shape vocally if they don't practice. Maybe she didn't want to/have time to practice for all those songs.

I suppose by idol standards 30 is “old” (cringing bc I’m 32) but Nakazawa is in her 40s and still loves to sing and perform, and she’s a mama now too. Tsuji just might not enjoy it as much as she used to.
