Sexy Cat must have a very distinct vision of "Duu, Oda, Mizuki" and they didn't want to change that vision. Really makes me wonder what they are going to do once Duu graduates.

After hearing Duu’s version of Sexy Cat I am even more depressed she’s graduating bc I love her so much. Literally after the first verse it’s just her completely solo lol I love it.

before the Morning Musume. '17 concert in Okayama, Morning Musume. '17 members and staff came out to the front entrance near the ticket office to announce that they have to cancel both concerts today. Harunan explained that Kudo caught a fever, possibly influenza and is not feeling well. Ayumi started to tear up. Eripon thought about wanting to show everyone they can perform with just 10 members. But they feel like Morning Musume. '17 just can't perform at their best today without Kudo, Mizuki, and Oda, so they have to cancel. It is possible that the concert will be transferred to a later date or refunded.

on her blog, Kudo says she got a fever (with influenza possibility) this morning and apologizes to everyone who was looking forward to today's concert.

That's sad. :( But yeah with 3 main girls down, they are at the borderline of professional performance or nor. I really hope the member get well soon and the concert get reschedule though.

That's rough. I bet they would've done alright with just the ten of them. I understand their worries though. I hope they take this as a moment of extra motivation for the future, to get to a point where they can confidently hold a show without those three even if it isn't "perfect".

ok, no more kissy kissy until the flu bug stops.

With the members distracted by their emotions for the sick members right now, its just not the right thing do to be performing when they are down. They would have to scramble even more with learning Kudo, Mizuki, and Oda's lines on the fly. Also, the flu bug is going around.

Redoing the dance moves and line distributions of two girls is hard enough, let alone three. With such little time I see why they did it - as interesting as it would have been.

I would've loved to see a concert without those three, but I do think the main reason they cancelled it is because they didn't want any more members to get sick. It's fair enough.
