Obviously for the second show Meimei go the geisha treatment, for the first show it was Ayacho (they were the only two that volunteered and did Janken to decide). Taiki Bansei was rearranged to fit the Japanese style dance involving fans. Everyone including the audience did a simple Japanese style dance to Nanakorobi, after learning the moves.

9th - Are we expecting a bad performance with Riho, Mizuki, and Zukki? I mean really. Eripon is their weaker link but she held her own just fine.

10th - Harunan is my oshimen, but I held no illusions of her ever being able to pull off Shabondama, so imagine my God Damn surprise that she did rather well O.o I dunno man, I really don't think it's my bias talking when I say Haruna has improved 10-fold this year. Her PV poses aren't awkward, her dancing is a lot tighter, and her singing has actually gotten passable. I have no idea what happened but she's just improved a whole helluva lot.

12th - I don't get why people say Miki can't sing. She can sing really well. However, the rest of them are easily iffy. With such strong singers coming in before them it's almost hard to listen to Ogata, Maria, and Akane. I feel like with work they could get better, but Ogata sounds Tone Deaf and it's... not pleasant at all. At least Haruna 1.0 never sounded completely Tone Deaf. Keep working Ogata. Miki is great though, haters to the left.

10th Gens was my favorite.

This is something I'll never quite understand, and this isn't my bias speaking right now. She's clearly the best singer in the 12th gen (Haga's a close candidate, she's not too bad herself) but people always doubt her for some reason. Sure, she's no Sakura or Mizuki, but she's really good for a person whose never ever gotten vocal training before. I really like how she held her last line in Shanimuni Paradise.

just joining in the conversation to point out that we have a similar situation for 12th generation like we did with 10th generation.

Ayumi was pushed the most initially and although she has a big presence in the group doesn't get as much screen time because she's not a good singer. So that ace void was later taken by Masaki.

Like right now it's Maria getting the push when Miki is the real ace. Acrobats, English, singing, she's the real ace of her generation.

Shabondama is not an easy song, but from different performances of it with different girls throughout the year it seems the girls have always been able to pull it off quite well. Such a good song. I really like the 10th gen's performance of it.

12ki: Ogata is so bad.... She's still my favorite out of 12ki but man lol. :')
I love Akane's voice though, I hope she improves soon. <3

10ki: "Ayumi dake" Awwwwww <3 Haruna has improved but I'd really prefer it if she just would stick to talking/screaming lines. They've become quite a good generation in performing though. Would have wanted Masaki lead instead of Ayumi but hey.

9ki: My favorite gen gets my least favorite MM single ever. ~_~ I think it's difficult to do though and they did great. Mizuki's voice really fit this type of song. <3
