Mixi wrote:The last (and only) time he composed a song for a Johnny's group was in 2001 when he wrote and produced Hitoribocchi no Haburashi for TOKIO. So glad Tsunku is still writing for other groups.

^Tsunku also composed a song for Nagase Tomoyas solo single (as Sakuraba Yuichiro), for Tsuyoshi Kusanagi's solo single (as Chonankan)
and for albums - he composed a few times for TOKIO and made a song for one of SMAP's albums... don't remember which album though.
edit- the album song is Katori Shingo's solo song がんばれ王子 from the album MIJ.

That song was for the drama in which Nagase played Sakuraba Yuichiro. Also with the song "Omae yanai to akannen"
He's composed a lot for other groups.

Isn't it Lupin III? Or is that just the English name for it? Or am I thinking of another anime?

That settles it -- I think the planets, the decades, and the Lupin/Lupids have converged, and now it's time for Morning Musume '15 to do a cover version of The Humpty Dance! (I'm sure that someone can come up with the proper choreography. XD )

airing on 9/10 on an NHK show called "NEXT Mirai no Tame ni", Tsunku will be interviewed for the first time since getting vocal cords removed. An interview without a voice. What is his state of mind right now?

Look at him :). He's such a great man, he's exactly the kind of role model young kids need nowadays.
