Tsuji Nozomi's dog Cook gave birth for the first time to 2 puppies. Unfortunately one of the puppies didn't make it, as it was born with gastroschisis. Tsuji said that everyone was very upset and they took the puppy to the vet but apparently it couldn't be saved. The other puppy seems to be in perfect health, however, and Cook herself is fine, too.

Note that the blog entry contains pictures of the first puppy but you can't see anything gross and it's still alive, but just in case...
